Great to meet you!

When I was 20, I worked out a lot. Then one day, I attended a company party and ate pizza. I instantly noticed how lethargic and depressed it made me feel. Since then, I've gotten curious about food and mental health. Through personal experience with this connection, I sought clinical training beyond graduate school. I became a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Now, I'm Utah’s Nutritional Psychotherapist! I help people with brain fog, depression, anxiety, stress, and ADHD improve mental health with real food nutrition. I also do conventional therapies such as EMDR, EFT, and Mindfulness for those who prefer not to dive into nutrition so much.

My approach to therapy

Sessions generally begin on a weekly basis. We can alternate nutrition and mental health sessions if you want a more comprehensive approach. For all therapy sessions, I like to be dynamic in the process and change approaches according to your needs.

What you can expect from me

Much of the goals I set with people are based on self-care including sleep, movement, and diet. Sometimes, I will teach skills like mindfulness and EFT. Basic psychotherapy is good for those who do not want deep nutritional support, but still want a somewhat holistic approach. Generally, a person is a good candidate for nutritional psychotherapy if they mostly have their trauma resolved but they continue to feel brain fog, depressed, or anxious and are willing to make changes to their diet.
