Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care for individuals ages 10–65. I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mental health conditions, and I believe treatment should be personalized to who you are, not just your diagnosis. My approach combines medication management, therapeutic strategies, and integrative approaches when appropriate, always taking your goals, needs, and values into consideration. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, share your story, and work together toward feeling your best.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, thoughtful, and centered around the whole person. I take time to understand what you’re experiencing, what may be contributing to it, and what you want your life to look like, not just the symptoms you’re having. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to mental health, so we’ll work together to find a treatment plan that fits your needs, goals, and values, whether that includes medication management, therapy-based strategies, integrative approaches, or a combination of these. I want you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being honest about what is and isn’t working so we can adjust your care together.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for me to understand what’s going on, identify the symptoms that are most concerning, and begin putting the pieces together. I’ll ask questions throughout the appointment to better understand your experiences and make a thorough assessment of what may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. From there, we’ll talk through different ways we could approach your treatment rather than me simply making decisions for you. I believe there should always be a reason behind the “why,” and it’s important to me that you understand that reasoning so we can make informed decisions about your care together.
