Great to meet you!

Cody is a fully licensed Mental Health Clinician with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. He specializes in trauma, substance abuse, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and the unique needs of military personnel and first responders. Cody has also worked with many current and former professional athletes from the NBA, NFL, MLB, and others. With a deep commitment to both compassion and practical solutions, Cody empowers clients to find healing and resilience.

In addition to his clinical work, Cody provides premarital courses designed for couples who want to invest in their marriage—not just their wedding. This program is officially recognized by the Palm Beach County Clerk’s Office. Cody also works closely with individuals who have received a DUI referral, offering ongoing treatment and support to help them get back on track.

Drawing on his extensive experience and client-centered approach, Cody’s goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can grow, recover, and thrive.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in helping people understand the connection between their thoughts and feelings so they can make choices that bring peace and balance. I use practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier ones. I also can incorporate faith-based principles to bring hope, purpose, and healing to the process. For those who’ve experienced trauma, I focus on creating safety and understanding while building strength for the future. My overall goal is to be solution-focused—helping clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and real-life strategies for change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is typically an intake appointment where we will get to know each other, discuss your goals, and gather background information to create a personalized treatment plan. You will quickly see that this is a laid back, very personal and casual feel to help each person feel comfortable and not judged.
