Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Colette, I have 30 years of experience in the helping profession. I received my Master's degree from Columbia University. The modalities I utilize include DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness-Based-Stress-Reduction, (MBSR). I've treated and continue to treat young, middle, and older adults experiencing difficulties with transitions, anxiety, depression, mood swings, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach involves empathy, seeking common ground, and mutual understanding and respect. My goal is to provide an accepting environment where clients can feel safe so that they can begin or continue the journey of realizing and accessing their potential.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm and accepting, nonjudging environment, where they can feel heard and supported. They will be provided with skill-building activities and resources to help them navigate life stressors more skillfully and successfully. They will be provided with evidenced-based skills tailored to their treatment needs and will be provided with the space to explore modalities of treatment most appropriate for their presenting issues.
