Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and ethnic groups.

I have experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and crisis-related concerns. My path into counseling grew from a natural ability to connect with people and provide a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them move toward healing, growth, and greater emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, supportive, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I understand that life can be difficult, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions, thoughts, and experiences.

I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, grief counseling, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness practices. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect empathy and compassion from the very first session. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected as we begin getting to know one another. During the first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, any concerns or challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I will also ask questions to better understand your background and needs so that we can begin creating a plan that feels right for you.
