Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals and families. My career has spanned diverse settings — from community health clinics and hospitals to county behavioral health services — where I’ve supported people navigating complex mental health, medical, and life challenges.

I specialize in working with adults and older adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I also bring extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and people living with chronic illness, providing affirming, trauma-informed care that honors identity, resilience, and lived experience.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and strengths-based, drawing from evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients feel deeply heard and empowered to move toward growth, healing, and well-being.

Whether you are seeking tools to manage stress, support for navigating identity, health concerns or space to heal from past experiences, I will encourage acceptance and growth.

My approach to therapy

What Clients Can Expect

In sessions, clients can expect a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space to explore their challenges and goals. Together, we’ll work on building practical tools to manage stress, strengthen coping skills, and improve overall well-being. Many clients leave sessions feeling more grounded, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients often take away:

  • New coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, and stress
  • Greater self-awareness and understanding of patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
  • Healing from past trauma through a trauma-informed and compassionate approach
  • Improved communication and boundary-setting skills
  • Affirmation of identity and strengths, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals and those with chronic health conditions
