Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who understands how overwhelming it can feel to navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, or major life transitions. I am certified in perinatal mental health and am skilled at working with pregnant and postpartum women. My goal is to create a safe, warm, and collaborative space where you feel both understood and hopeful. Clients often describe me as warm and relatable, someone who makes it easier to talk about difficult things.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based treatments, including CBT, exposure/response prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based strategies, because research shows they work. At the same time, I believe therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I take the time to get to know you and adapt tools to fit your unique needs, personality, and goals. Humor, warmth, and curiosity often show up in my sessions, because healing works best when you feel comfortable being fully yourself.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on getting to know you. I’ll ask about what brought you in and what you hope to gain from therapy, and I’ll also gather background information to understand your history, experiences, and the nuances of your life. Just as important, we’ll begin building rapport, talk through any questions you have, and help you get a clearer sense of what therapy with me will look like. While the first session is more about assessment than strategies, many clients find it helpful and grounding to share their story and start developing a connection in the process.
