I graduated from UMSL with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in crisis intervention, including working on the suicide hotline as well as in emergency rooms with patients experiencing mental health crises. I typically work with clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles.
My approach is gentle and direct. I want you to feel safe in therapy, and I also want you to experience growth and see noticeable improvements.
During a first session, we will review the informed consent and go over general guidelines for working together. You can ask any questions that you may have and there will be plenty of time for you to begin sharing what you've been going through, and what has brought you to therapy.
