Colleen Karasinski

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I studied at Immaculata and obtained my Masters at Wilkes Universities in Pennsylvania. I have specialized in providing psychiatric services to adults with various mental health illnesses. My background has a strong emphasis on treating those with anxiety, mood disorders, anger, attention deficit, impulsivity and substance use disorders. Prior to becoming a Psychiatric NP I worked as an RN for 25 years in a variety of psychiatric settings.

Patient centered care as always been my philosophy. I collaborate with my patients to ensure theirs needs are being expressed and valued.

My patients should feel a sense of being heard while not feeling judged. I respect all that they have experienced and work hard to enhance understanding of mental illness and educate them on their symptoms.
