Great to meet you!

I am passionate about what I do! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for both Connecticut and California! I specialize in supporting survivors of trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, and emotionally abusive relationships. I understand that these experiences can affect your confidence, relationships, boundaries, and ability to trust yourself. I provide a compassionate, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard without being pressured to share more than you are ready to explore. I believe you are more than what happened to you, and I will help you recognize the strength and resilience that have carried you forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, strength-based, and collaborative. I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychoeducation, grounding techniques, emotional-regulation skills, and boundary work based on each client’s individual needs. Together, we will explore how past experiences may be affecting your present emotions, relationships, and beliefs about yourself. Therapy will focus on reducing distress, rebuilding self-trust, strengthening your voice, and helping you create healthier patterns while moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building trust and discussing what brought you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, support system, and what you hope to gain from treatment. You are always in control of what you choose to share, and you will not be expected to tell your entire story during the first appointment. Together, we will identify your priorities, discuss possible treatment approaches, and begin creating a plan that supports your safety, comfort, and personal goals.
