Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a strong clinical background supporting individuals and couples through complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I have a MAEDS from Seton Hall and my training in counseling has equipped me with evidence-based approaches to treatment. I specialize in treating co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, divorce and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I am eclectic in my work with clients, using mostly client-centered, DBT and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques depending on the specific needs of the client. I also use Emotionally Focused Therapy to assist couples with identifying their negative cycle of conflict, emotional disconnection and insecure attachment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel welcomed, supported and heard during their first session. My goal is to create a safe nonjudgmental space where clients can share at their own pace. I will use open questions to learn about a client's symptoms, stressors and patterns they have been experiencing. This session is more about information-gathering and to answer any questions the client has about therapy.
