Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than 27 years of experience in the mental health field, providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, couples, and families. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling as well as a second Master’s degree in Psychology, demonstrating a strong commitment to advanced clinical training and ongoing professional development.

I have extensive experience working with diverse populations and am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and affirming therapeutic environment. My approach is grounded in fostering self-awareness, deepening insight, and guiding clients toward meaningful behavioral change.

Through a collaborative and client-centered process, I aim to support individuals in achieving personal growth, strengthening resilience, and enhancing overall emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is grounded in a person-centered framework that prioritizes creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self. I view my role as a collaborative partner in your therapeutic journey, focusing on identifying and affirming your strengths while working toward meaningful and sustainable change.

I value the importance of understanding your unique experiences and perspective. By listening to your story, I am able to work intentionally with you to establish goals, address concerns, and support your personal growth. Together, we will focus on fostering lasting change that enhances both your individual well-being and your relationships, guiding you toward becoming the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

In the initial session, we will focus on building rapport and developing a mutual understanding of your needs and expectations. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and determine whether I am the appropriate therapist to support you in your therapeutic journey. I will also provide an overview of the counseling process and begin to identify your strengths, as well as your goals and areas of concern.

I strive to offer a calm, warm, and strength-based environment that is both supportive and affirming. Therapy will proceed at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with an emphasis on collaboration and trust. My role is to partner with you in fostering meaningful, lasting change while supporting your healing and personal growth.
