I received both my Master of Social Work and my Bachelor of Music degrees from Nazareth University and am a licensed clinical social worker in NYS. I am fluent in American Sign Language and specialize in providing therapy to Deaf/hard-of-hearing patients, though I am hearing and provide therapy in spoken English as well.
My approach is reflective and relational. I am not a therapist who will assign homework or give you advice, but rather will join you in being curious and clarifying your own desires, rather than conforming to what a provider thinks is best for you.
Research tells us that the number one predictor of good outcomes in therapy is the quality of the patient/therapist relationship. I strive to create an environment that fosters a meaningful relationship between us, and allows us to use that relationship as a vehicle for healing.
