Conner Kreider

Hi, I'm Conner! I'm a social worker and I've been practicing counseling for four years. The bulk of my professional career has been in treating substance abuse issues. However, I think the foundations of that treatment can apply to just about anyone. If you're finding yourself stuck in the same cycle over and over again, I believe I can help you break out of it. Whether it be anxious tendencies, addictive behaviors, or relationship conflicts, I've found an ability to help people recognize negative patterns and take steps to find a new path forward when they're ready.

As a therapist, I consider myself to be gentle but direct. I find that the best therapy digs right into the issues at hand while leaving space for self-compassion. On top of that, focused sessions are the best use of your time and money. My go-to methods are cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, rational-emotive behavior therapy, and solution-focused work.

Therapy can be scary initially, because in the beginning it revolves around identifying problems rather than solving them. Thankfully, that's only step one. In our first session, I would get to know a little bit about you and the concerns you've been facing. I'm well versed in assessments and evaluations to help us find the right place to start. From there, we can create a plan together for how to address those issues during appointments as well as your everyday life.
