Great to meet you!

My focus is working with high functioning Black women to help address and heal racial trauma, generational trauma, life changes, difficult life adjustments, grief, low self-esteem, women issues, and relationship issues just to name a few. I use a solution focused, cognitive behavioral model that can incorporate cultural and religious/spiritual elements if you prefer. I am able to incorporate holistic restorative care. Hey Sis, let's work together to get you to a healed & healthy place!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to build a rapport with the client, create an environment of safety, then work with the client to establish a treatment plan that is both feasible and realistic for that client.

I offer traditional talk therapy individually and in groups. I also offer pre-engagement, pre-marital, and Christian counseling. I will soon be offering trauma-informed yoga and meditation. My priority is to meet the client wherever they are.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that women will leave their session feeling validated, supported, empowered, encouraged and motivated. I recognize the mental health barriers for people of color, and I believe representation matters in therapy also. We are in this together. From one black woman to another: you deserve to heal.

I want Black women who need therapy to reach out to me so I can help you get the help you need in a safe, culturally competent space.
