Great to meet you!

I believe counseling is a partnership, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing, growth, and the life they want to create. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and have spent many years supporting individuals through life's challenges while learning something meaningful from each person I meet. My areas of focus include grief and loss, caregiver support, women's issues, anxiety, and depression. I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and often incorporate expressive arts to encourage self-discovery, resilience, and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe healing begins in a safe, accepting environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we'll explore the challenges that brought you to counseling while building on your strengths and identifying practical tools that support lasting change.

Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, expressive arts, and other evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.

My goal is to help you gain insight, develop confidence, and find greater peace and balance in your life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll begin with a few moments of focused breathing to help you feel comfortable and settled. I'll take time to get to know you, learn what brings you to counseling, and explore what you hope will be different in your life. One of my favorite questions is, "How will you know you no longer need counseling?" Your answer helps us define meaningful goals and guides our work together.
