Great to meet you!
My name is Connor O'Shea. I am originally from Colorado and moved to Kansas in 2023 to be close to family. I am a husband and a father of two. I received a masters in clinical mental health from Adams State and have been practicing therapy since 2018 and have been independently licensed since 2022.
I have worked in a wide variety of settings including providing therapy for adolescents diagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, doing in-home therapy for adolescents with behavioral difficulties, working at higher levels of care where adults and adolescents who are experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, OCD, and eating disorders need 24/7 care, as a clinical director at an eating disorder residential facility, and doing out-patient therapy.
I love nature and try to bring that into my therapy office through the help of my therapy dog, Ralphie, my Betta fish ( the most recent one being named Betta), as well as filling the room with plants.
I am Catholic and enjoy integrating Christianity into therapy. At the same time, I do not want religious beliefs to be something that hinders a person from seeking support from me, and am more than happy to not bring religion into the therapeutic space.
