Great to meet you!

I am Licensed Professional counselor with over seven years of experience in helping individuals navigate a wide range of life's challenges. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Masters in Education with emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science-Psychology from Georgia Southern University.

My approach to therapy

My goal as a therapist is to create an environment that is collaborative, open-minded, and solution-focused. Therapy is about helping clients identify and understand patterns in their lives, and to help them learn tools that will help them navigate struggles. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) and humanistic approaches. I believe in empowerment and I want to help clients find ways to use their strengths to lead better lives. I want the process of therapy to allow clients to take the mask off and gain a better understanding of themselves.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be focused on helping clients identify the struggles and challenges that brought them to therapy. I will help the client create a path toward a healthier life by discussing what's been working and what hasn't been working. The relationship between therapist and client is most important, and my goal is to help explore who you are, where you've been, and who you want to be.
