Great to meet you!

I came to the profession of counseling though my own healing journey from grief and addiction. I started at the Meadows Behavior Health in 2018 as an Equine Specialist, completed my clinical internship at the main campus working with trauma, addiction, eating disorders and military. After completing my clinical internship, I spent a year and a half in the family department honing my skills and learning from some of the best therapist while reconnecting families after betrayal and addiction-all during COVID.

Most recently, I have been a primary therapist at the Meadows Intensive Outpatient Center in Scottsdale since August of 2022 running both Men's issues and co-ed groups healing from addiction and trauma. At the beginning of 2026, I launched Reins to Recovery-a program providing group healing intensives with horses.

I have experience with military, pilots and many working professions. I have received training in Post Induction Therapy (Shame Reduction), Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals and couples, Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR), NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) from Laurence Heller, and Psychodrama from Tian Dayton. I apply 12-step recovery and principles to care for a directive, robust approach to your care.

My approach to therapy

I believe we are spiritual beings on physical journeys who often are wounded in relationship so we must heal in relationship. I take a person centered, attachment focused lens and use motivational interviewing to make sure we are precise and effective in our time together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want to know your story-how you got here, what you have experienced on your journey that has lead you to seek this therapeutic connection and what you expect and need from me. We will discuss what our sessions could look like going forward, how frequently you'd like to meet and what connections and supports you have for between sessions.
