Great to meet you!
I am a dedicated mental health professional specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). My clinical approach is evidence-based, structured, and goal-oriented, helping individuals identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful behavioral change. I am passionate about empowering clients with practical tools to manage anxiety, mood disorders, stress, and tic-related challenges, while fostering resilience, self-awareness, and long-term emotional well-being.A client-centered, strength-based approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that clients are the experts of their own lives and already possess inherent strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth. This approach integrates empathy, collaboration, and empowerment into every aspect of the therapeutic process.
In a client-centered framework, the therapist provides a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment characterized by genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and empathic understanding. The client’s goals, values, and lived experiences guide the direction of treatment. Rather than positioning the therapist as the authority, therapy becomes a collaborative approach.
Interventions may include:
Highlighting patterns of resilience and perseverance
Reinforcing adaptive coping strategies
Encouraging self-efficacy and autonomy
Supporting goal-setting aligned with personal values
Using reflective listening to deepen insight and self-trust
This approach fosters empowerment, increases confidence, and promotes sustainable change by helping clients see themselves not as “problems to be fixed,” but as capable individuals with strengths to be cultivated.
