Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Connie. I’m passionate about supporting individuals and couples build better relationships with themselves and their loved ones, and I’ve devoted my professional life to this work.

Perhaps you are in the midst of the perinatal period — the time between when you are planning or contemplating growing your family, through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and early parenting — navigating some of the most challenging, rewarding, lonely, joyous, frustrating, meaningful, confusing, and transformative years of life.

Maybe you are feeling untethered or lost after trauma, as your body and mind works overtime or shuts down in the attempt to keep you safe, relying on old or adaptive behaviors, beliefs, and thoughts that keep you feeling stuck in patterns that hurt more than help.

Or maybe you are longing for more connection, safety, or ease in relationships with your partner, children or family members, wanting to move beyond recurring cycles of miscommunication, conflict, or distance and find new ways to relate that feel more aligned with your self and values.

No matter what your unique experience is, you deserve to be heard, held and supported in whatever challenges you are facing .

I offer a space to slow down, process, learn new skills, and heal so you can feel more presence, ease, and joy in your body, mind, and relationships.

Together, we can make sense of your experiences, help you connect with yourself and strengthen your relationships, and find steadier ground in the midst of challenge and change.

My approach to therapy

I support new parents and couples navigating birth trauma; fertility challenges; attachment wounds; perinatal anxiety and depression; body image concerns; ADHD/HSP parenting; and relationship challenges. I integrate attachment-based and psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and somatic approaches to support deep, lasting healing. Clients who work with me describe my style as compassionate, genuine, grounded, exploratory, and creative, while also able to hold and work with the complexities of your experience with professional competency to help you meet your therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first sessions, I'll spend time getting to know what challenges feel most alive for you now, your goals for therapy, your unique strengths, and your history. My aim is for you to leave our first session feeling heard and supported, with a sense of hope, a few practical tools to help you navigate life right now, and an understanding of what our work together will like moving forward.
