Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Constance! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I truly enjoy helping people work through life’s challenges and become the best version of themselves. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas Woman’s University and my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, grief, and emotional regulation. I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and my passion is helping people recognize their strengths, build confidence, and feel empowered to make positive changes. Whether you're going through a difficult season or simply trying to figure things out, my goal is to help you feel supported as you work toward a healthier, more balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is all about meeting you where you are because I understand that everyone has their own experiences, challenges, and goals. I want our sessions to feel like a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, speak openly, and feel heard and supported. I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Behavioral Activation to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions while finding practical ways to make positive changes. I'm a big believer in taking small steps toward meaningful change, whether that's building healthier habits, improving motivation, setting boundaries, or getting back to doing things you enjoy. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and supportive, but I'll also encourage you to challenge yourself, recognize your strengths, and look at things from a different perspective when needed.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and help you feel comfortable. I understand that opening up to someone new isn't always easy, so there's no pressure to share everything all at once. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you're hoping to work on, while also getting a better understanding of your background and goals. I want our first session to feel more like a conversation than an interview, so you don't have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Just come as you are! My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and comfortable taking the next step in your journey.
