Great to meet you!

“It’s time for your life to be about you.” As a trauma therapist I’ve seen the many ways someone can feel they have lost their freedom. Abusive relationships, controlling parents, loss, grief, violence, and so many more things leave us all feeling imprisoned. Trauma is a loss of control and control can be taken by anything.

I specialize in trauma, grief, and family conflict, drawing from diverse experiences—as an EMT, working with NGOs in Iraq, and my clinical training. These perspectives shape my approach, blending real-world insight with evidence-based therapy to support healing and resilience.

No matter what you have been through, I take a non-judgmental and caring approach to pursue that goal together.

My approach to therapy

I combine narrative therapy and EMDR to help you understand how your past experiences shape your relationships and sense of self. Together, we'll process unresolved trauma and explore your story, empowering you to break free from limiting patterns and build a more fulfilling future.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will involve taking a slow approach to understand you as an individual, the types of practical and measurable goals you hope to achieve in treatment, and allowing you as the client to get to know me as we move through the therapeutic process together.
