Great to meet you!

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) specializing in children, teens, families, couples, and individual therapy.

She specializes in play therapy and art therapy, helping children and teens express emotions, reduce anxiety and anger, and build self-esteem. She also works with parents through parental therapy, providing practical tools to encourage positive behavior and better understand their children.

For couples, Cora focuses on healthy communication, empathy, validation, and addressing the root of relationship struggles. In individual therapy, she works primarily with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem, incorporating approaches such as CBT, DBT, and reflective exercises.

Cora holds a Master’s in School Counseling from NYU and a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from LIU.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they can feel comfortable sharing their concerns and goals. Cora takes time to get to know each client, understand what they are experiencing, and identify the areas they would like to work on in therapy.

For children and teens, she uses age-appropriate approaches such as play therapy, art therapy, and reflective activities to help them express their emotions and feel comfortable in the therapeutic setting. Parents can also expect to receive practical guidance and strategies to better understand and support their child.

For couples and adults, Cora focuses on creating a safe space for open communication, empathy, and validation. Together, clients and Cora will identify treatment goals and begin developing practical strategies to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, communication difficulties, and relationship challenges.

By the end of the first session, clients can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapy process, initial treatment goals, and a collaborative plan for moving forward.
