Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Coralia Valdez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I have been working in the mental health field for over 25 years. Throughout my work as therapist, I believe that real change happens when you feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore your challenges, discover your strengths, and move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I use a client-centered approach, which means I meet you where you are and walk alongside you in your journey; emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to build strong therapeutic relationships.

Together, we’ll draw from tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to understand patterns that may be holding you back, Solution-Focused Therapy to highlight your strengths and build on what’s already working, and Problem-Solving strategies to help you face challenges with more confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your story is unique and powerful, whether you’re navigating personal struggles, relationship challenges, or family dynamics, I aim to offer compassion, encouragement, and practical skills to support lasting growth. My hope is that our work together leaves you feeling more empowered, balanced, and connected.
