Great to meet you!

I am a caring and supportive therapist with 10 years of experience helping people navigate mental health and substance use challenges. I have worked with individuals in both clinical and hospital settings, supporting people through difficult and often stressful times in their lives.

My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. I work with each person as an individual and believe that therapy should be a place where you can talk openly, understand yourself better, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward the changes you want to make.

Whether you are struggling with your mental health, substance use, life changes, relationships, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you don't have to face it alone. I am here to listen, support you, and work with you toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and focused on your individual needs and goals. I believe therapy should be a safe and comfortable place where you can be open about what you are experiencing without fear of judgment.

I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

With CBT, we work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to difficult situations. With DBT, we focus on practical skills that can help with managing emotions, coping with stress, improving relationships, and handling difficult moments.

I recognize that everyone’s experiences are different, so I tailor therapy to what works best for you. My goal is to help you build practical skills, increase self-awareness, strengthen your ability to cope with challenges, and feel more confident in managing life’s ups and downs.

Therapy is a partnership. We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you and focus on the changes that are meaningful to your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable with the therapy process. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to know exactly what to talk about.

We’ll have a relaxed conversation about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you would like support with. I’ll also answer any questions you may have about therapy and how we can work together.

My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. We’ll take things at your pace, and you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Most importantly, the first session is about building a connection and creating a safe space for you to begin your journey.
