Great to meet you!

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, substance use, and difficult life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with patterns that are hard to break, working through experiences from your past, or trying to regain a sense of stability, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with experience in addiction recovery, crisis stabilization, and behavioral health treatment. Throughout my career, I've supported individuals facing complex emotional challenges, including those managing both mental health and substance use concerns. I believe meaningful change is possible, and my goal is to help you build on your strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create lasting improvements in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, open-minded, and solution-oriented. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and actively involved in the process. I'll take the time to understand your experiences, challenges, and goals so we can focus on what matters most to you.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and EMDR when appropriate. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety or depression, processing difficult experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, navigating recovery, or developing healthier patterns and coping strategies. I aim to balance genuine support with practical tools and honest feedback that help you make meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what you've been experiencing, what's been most challenging lately, and what you'd like to be different. You don't need to have everything figured out before we begin.

You can expect me to be approachable, supportive, and straightforward. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and work alongside you to identify realistic goals and practical next steps. My hope is that you leave therapy with greater self-awareness, healthier ways to manage life's challenges, and more confidence in your ability to create lasting change.
