Great to meet you!

I work with couples and adults navigating the hard parts of life and marriage/long-term relationships — not to smooth things over, but to help you grow through them.

My approach draws from the Crucible Neurobiological Therapy model and differentiation-based frameworks. The focus isn't on your partner's behavior. It's on you — your capacity to hold yourself together under pressure, stay honest when it costs something, and show up as the person you want to be inside your closest relationship.

Therapy with me is direct and collaborative. I'm not going to reflect your feelings back at you for 50 minutes. I'm going to work with you.

I have a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy and 20+ years in private practice.

My approach to therapy

My work aims to hit the sweet spot between knowledge and action. I collaborate with you to discover the foundational information you need — and follow it up with conversations and actions you can take up right away.

This work is a profoundly simple approach, yet extremely difficult to pull off. But it is well worth the effort and sacrifice.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an assessment — but not a passive one, and we're not just gathering information. We're getting to work.

I'm going to ask direct questions about what's happening in your relationship, what you've already tried, and what you're actually hoping for. I want to know what's at stake for you.

You'll leave with a clearer sense of what the work looks like and whether we're a good fit. I don't believe in dragging out a process that isn't going anywhere, and I'll tell you honestly if I think something else would serve you better. Come ready to talk. That's the whole job.
