Great to meet you!

I’m a person-centered therapist with more than ten years of experience helping people navigate grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship struggles, family conflict, heartbreak, abuse, and trauma. I work with a broad range of clients and bring specialized training in EMDR and trauma-focused care to my practice. I know what it is to struggle, and I believe healing begins when you no longer have to face that struggle alone. My role is to meet you where you are, help you imagine where you want to be, and walk alongside you as you find the courage to get there.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, creative, and person-centered. I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods, including narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, EMDR, cognitive reframing, recovery principles, creative therapy, and somatic approaches, tailoring the work to who you are and what you need. I believe the things that once helped us survive can eventually stop serving us, and that meaningful change requires courage, patience, and self-compassion. You can think of therapy as dumping out the bucket of Legos that is the mess of your life—we’ll sit together, sort through the pieces, and discover what you can build from here.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a place to slow down, feel heard, and begin making sense of what brought you to therapy. I’ll listen without judgment, learn about your story and what you hope will be different, and begin to understand the experiences that have shaped where you are today. Together, we’ll identify what feels most important to work on and begin creating a path forward that feels manageable and meaningful. You don’t have to arrive with all the answers—just a willingness to begin. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and hopeful that change is possible.
