Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Corey, owner of Dad Therapist. Since 2019, I have worked with expecting fathers, new dads, NICU parents, and dads who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant loss, and infertility. I'm a NICU dad (2020 and 2025 babies) and have three living sons and one stillborn daughter. One of the things I love most about being the “Dad Therapist” is that I get to work with clients I can deeply relate to. My empathy comes from lived experience, not just my professional training. I am a licensed therapist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional.

My approach to therapy

Have you ever had a therapist who just felt like a paid listening robot? I have, too. I know how important it is to go beyond that. Authenticity is one of my core values, and I know when and how to challenge clients when they need it, too.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create and maintain a space for you to feel seen and understood but also challenged when necessary for growth. I'll facilitate inner work and opportunities for you to develop skills that help you be the person you want to be based on your core values. In the beginning, I might be your strongest advocate, but I hope you can learn to be your own strongest advocate over time! I'm here for you. :)
