Great to meet you!
I bring a warm, straightforward approach to therapy and genuinely enjoy helping people better understand themselves and make changes that feel meaningful. Much of my career has focused on working with LGBTQ+ clients, including 10 years as a therapist at Seattle Counseling Service. I have experience helping people navigate identity, relationships, family, and mental health, and I want therapy to feel collaborative, comfortable, and like a place where you can be honest about what’s really going on.
I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and trauma. I’ve also worked extensively with coming out, family conflict, relationship and communication issues, self-esteem, and negative self-talk. During my work at Harborview Medical Center, I also supported family members and caregivers who were trying to understand and navigate the challenges their loved ones were experiencing.
My approach is solution-focused and collaborative. I don’t believe therapy is about me telling you what to do. It’s about figuring things out together, understanding what’s getting in your way, and finding practical strategies that actually fit your life. Whether you know exactly what you want to work on or just know that something needs to change, we can start there.
