Great to meet you!

I was born and raised in Ohio and have worked in many different settings over the years, including group homes, hospitals, crisis, jails and community mental health. I work with all people ages teen and older, and have been in the field for 25+years. I specialize in dealing with trauma and have been trained in EMDR. My other areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, anger and grief. I now work in a private practice setting and can easily convert to telehealth when needed.

My approach to therapy

The best description for my approach is flexibility, as I will change to adapt to new circumstances as they arise. My past has required adaptability, so I consider it to be a strength of mine. I understand that not every treatment works for everybody, so each person has to find what works for them. I am here to adapt to what is best needed for each client and to adjust.

What you can expect from me

I would like to have each of my clients get at least some insight, skill, knowledge or awareness from each session so that there is some benefit. I am here to be present and to stand with each client to get the most from each session. I like to see growth and to see the changes that will occur with emotional improvements.
