Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Corine Brown (aka Dr. C’MA), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctorate in social work, and I've spent over 15 years working with people through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and big life changes. I work with adults and elders - I love helping people who are tired of just coping and want to feel more like themselves again. People often come to me for help with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship struggles, stress and sleep problems, and questions about identity, sexuality and who they're becoming.

My approach to therapy

My style is trauma-informed, strengths-focused and collaborative. I am not here to analyze you or hand you a one-size-fits-all plan. We'll go at your pace and figure out what fits. I draw on EMDR, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing, along with mindfulness and mind-body approaches to best serve you.

What you can expect from me

I orient in an emergent and presence-centered way so in our first session, we'll tune into what you feel is most relevant to your process and where you want to go in therapy. I will follow your lead, answer any questions you may have and we will definitely have some laughs along the way! If that sounds like you, or you're just not sure, I'd love to hear from you.
