I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering in person therapy. Therapy means we’re going to intentionally face the difficulties going on in your life (which requires amazing courage)! If you are looking for a genuine and compassionate person to be your ally and guide, I would love to help you create a life that feels more in line with your values.

Specialties include: difficult life transitions, anxiety in its various forms (Generalized, OCD, Panic Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder), compulsive behaviors, stress related to parenting and relationship issues, and trauma-related symptoms. I believe that shame hugely impacts us and so I often offer guidance to move towards greater self-acceptance and compassion. I have training and experience in CBT, ERP, ACT, trauma informed approaches and mindfulness and compassion based therapies.

Therapy starts with helping me understand your story and receiving the validation and understanding you may be needing. By telling it, you may also come to build more understanding and validation for yourself, as well as begin to feel that you have greater choice in the behaviors you’d like to change. Based on your needs, we can then use a more structured or less structured approach to work towards the growth you’re looking for.
