Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship and family concerns, identity issues, and major life transitions. I believe therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, work through what’s getting in the way, and develop skills that make a meaningful difference outside of our sessions.

My style combines compassion with honesty and accountability. I want you to feel supported and understood, while also having someone who will be direct with you and encourage you toward the changes you want to make. I have experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life circumstances, and I strive to create a space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and focus on what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered and integrative approach because I don’t believe therapy should look exactly the same for everyone. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to work alongside you as we better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize patterns, build on your strengths, and identify practical ways to move forward.

I draw from approaches including CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, and strengths-based therapy. Our work may involve developing coping skills, improving communication, changing unhelpful patterns, strengthening relationships, or finding new ways to respond to difficult emotions and situations. We’ll tailor our work to your needs, goals, and pace.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and talk about what you’d like support with. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. We’ll start with what feels most important to you and build our work together from there.

You can expect me to be engaged, straightforward, and supportive. I’ll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize both the challenges you're facing and the strengths you can build on. Therapy with me is collaborative, but I won't simply sit back and listen. I'll be an active partner in helping you develop greater clarity, confidence, and practical tools you can carry into everyday life.
