Since 2010, I've been a clinical social worker providing therapy in the state of California. I've worked with a broad population of people and enjoy working with a range of ages and cultures. I find it rewarding when clients gain insight, learn new skills and are empowered to create change in their lives.
I cater treatment to the needs of the individual. I practice from a trauma-informed lens, meaning that I seek to understand all facets of your life and history to provide individualized support. I pull from various modalities, including psychodynamic, person-centered and interpersonal psychotherapy. My approach is strength-based and emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
In our first session, we will explore what brought you into therapy, any past experience in therapy and your hopes and expectations. Time allowing, I will spend time learning more about you, your strengths and what makes you who you are.
