Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. I've earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Rowan University and went on to earn my Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University, with a focus in clinical therapy.

I am passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space for all my clients. Previous experiences include providing therapeutic services for clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life adjustments, trauma, and PTSD.

I use a blend of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and emotional regulation strategies. I encourage the development of coping strategies and self-care to empower my clients to cultivate independence to handle the challenges that they face. I recognize that each client is unique, and each approach is catered to the client’s specific goals and needs.

When I am not in the office I am staying physically active, reading, being creative, or spending quality time with my children and friends.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life and have an innate capacity for growth and healing. My role is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I focus on offering genuine presence, deep empathy, and unconditional positive regard—so you feel truly heard, accepted, and understood. Rather than directing the process I will work collaboratively with you. Trusting your ability to gain insight, building self-acceptance, and moving towards a meaningful, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I approach the first session with care and intention, recognizing that meeting a therapist for the first time can feel new, unfamiliar, or uncomfortable. My priority is to create a sense of safety and ease from the very beginning. You are encouraged to share at your own pace, without any added pressure or expectations from me. You’re welcome to talk about whatever feels most important to you. This first meeting is about getting to know you, answering your questions, and beginning to build a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and heard.
