Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works with adolescents, college students, and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-achieving, thoughtful people who feel overwhelmed by constant worry, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or the pressure to have everything figured out. I strive to create a space that feels genuine, collaborative, and free of judgment. Therapy with me is not about being “fixed”; it’s about understanding yourself more clearly, developing practical tools, and building a life that feels more manageable and meaningful. I also have specialized training in child-centered play therapy and continue to work with younger children when it is a good fit, but a significant portion of my practice is dedicated to supporting older adolescents and young adults during this important stage of development.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, practical, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and emotion-regulation strategies to help clients better understand themselves, identify patterns that keep them feeling stuck, and develop healthier ways of responding to thoughts, emotions, and life challenges.

For adolescents and young adults, I focus on building self-awareness, confidence, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of identity and agency. Sessions are collaborative and conversational, balancing insight with practical tools that clients can apply in their everyday lives. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel understood while developing the skills needed to navigate anxiety, relationships, transitions, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from the process. We’ll talk about your current challenges, your strengths, your experiences, and any patterns you may want to better understand or change.

I’ll also explain how I approach therapy and begin collaborating with you on goals that feel meaningful and realistic. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the beginning. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your first session is the starting point for building a space where you can explore, grow, and develop tools that fit your life.
