Great to meet you!

I’m Cortney Guignard, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializing in anxiety, stress, and relationship dynamics. I work with individuals who are ready to move beyond surface-level conversations and gain real clarity about what’s keeping them stuck.

My style is intentional, insightful, and focused on results. I help you quickly identify patterns, shift unhelpful thinking, and develop practical strategies that create lasting change. If you’re looking for therapy that is both supportive and impactful, you’re in the right place.

In our first session, you can expect to feel both understood and challenged in a meaningful way. I guarantee that you will leave session with a clearer understanding of what’s been keeping you stuck, along with practical insight into how to move forward with intention and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including but not limited to:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT is focused on changing thoughts to change behavior. I provide this in my practice by working on discovering unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors and change them to more positive/neutral to increase your life satisfaction.

Gottman Method, Perhaps one of my favorite methods. I use this on couples or individuals with relationship issues on how to build trust, enhance communication and vulnerability. I will be incorporating this method to enhance your relationship.

Psychoanalytic Therapy, I use this method when determining your unconscious thoughts and behaviors that drive your daily life. I help discover with you the unhealthy patterns, where it comes from and actively work with you to recognize, heal and change patterns. By using this modality, you will learn so much about yourself and feel a sense of freedom.

Therapy is both collaborative and personal. We will find together which modality works best for your needs.

What you can expect from me

My greatest strength is helping you move from confusion to clarity quickly. I am skilled at identifying the core issues beneath anxiety, stress, and relationship struggles and helping you understand what is maintaining these patterns. My approach is active, focused, and insight-driven, combining emotional depth with practical strategies so you leave sessions with both understanding and direction.

My ideal client that I best serve are young professionals navigating different life transitions, clients who are interested in dating or have relationship issues. I work with clients who want to work on decreasing their anxiety/depression and increase their self-esteem/trust they have within themselves. I work well with clients who are willing to try new things to get different results.
