Great to meet you!

Dr. Pearce is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been working with patients since 1995.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Pearce offers an engaged, collaborative brand of psychotherapy. Depending on the needs and goals of his patients, treatment may be highly technique-focused on specific clinical problems such as panic or depression, or, for less easily-defined problems, oriented more toward insight, support, and self-understanding. He has a particular professional passion for the treatment of eating disorders, but helps patients with a wide variety of clinical problems.

What you can expect from me

The first meeting with Dr. Pearce is typically a very active session, oriented toward understanding the possibilities and limits of psychotherapy and a quick understanding of the problem you are bringing to therapy. The goal by the end of the first understanding is for a patient to receive some professional feedback about the nature of a patient's problems and an initial course of action to take steps for changing them.
