Great to meet you!

You should know that I understand how disorienting life can feel after trauma, injury, or chronic illness. I bring both professional training and lived perspective into the room, which allows me to approach this work with depth, empathy, and realism. I believe in building a life worth living — even when it looks different than before. I’ll be steady, direct, and collaborative, helping you recognize your strengths while developing practical skills to move forward with resilience and purpose.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic, integrative approach to therapy grounded in evidence-based practice and real-world application. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment work, trauma-informed care, and skills-based interventions to help you see progress early and build lasting resilience.

My focus is practical: calming the nervous system, identifying unhelpful patterns, and developing tools you can use under real pressure — not just in session. At the same time, we explore the deeper layers of identity, grief, and meaning that often follow trauma, injury, or major life transitions.

Therapy with me is collaborative and direct. We set clear goals, track progress, and adjust as needed. You won’t be left wandering in an open-ended conversation without direction. My aim is to help you build a steady internal foundation so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose — even if life looks different than it once did.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll slow down and focus on getting a clear picture of you — not just the symptoms that brought you in. I take time to build rapport and understand the experiences that have shaped you across your life. Together, we’ll identify strengths that have helped you overcome past challenges and begin introducing practical strategies to address what you’re facing now.
