Great to meet you!

I would like to welcome adults and seniors from all backgrounds and offer the opportunity to work towards achieving positive change in an open and non-judgmental setting. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based practice that is effective for depression and various anxiety disorders, insomnia and substance use. I have been fortunate to touch many people’s lives, and they have become my best teachers. If you are ready to embrace the next chapter of your journey, I look forward to working with you.

You are the expert on you - You lead and I will walk with you.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is Eclectic. I believed that each person is unique with different needs as it relates to therapy. Which is why I adopt a Person-Centered Approach, meeting individuals where they are, providing actively listening, offering support with encouragement and validation. Counseling Without walls utilizes Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Psychoeducation.

Together, we shall explore your emotional needs and establish goals and priorities. We will emphasize your strengths and pinpoint areas for growth, enabling you to reach your fullest potential.

What you can expect from me

During your initial session, I will take the time to familiarize myself with you, gain insight into your motivations for seeking counseling, and discover your aspirations for the process. This moment serves as an opportunity for you to share your present concerns, aspirations, personal history, challenges, and any recurring patterns that may be affecting your daily life. I will ask questions to have a deeper understanding of your needs, what has proven effective or ineffective in your past experiences, and whether my model of therapy align with your expectations. This session also provides a chance for you to ask questions, express concerns and identify what may help you feel grounded and supportive.
