Great to meet you!

I am a sincere and caring person with a passion for life. I am a Christian and I appreciate the opportunity to work with people. I love working with and learning from the people I work with. I have practiced therapy for over 12 years, after working 12 years in nursing. I am a navy wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I love dogs, beaches, reading a good mystery and cooking. I also enjoy jazz, R & B and instrumental music.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment, where clients can share their innermost struggles & challenges, without feeling judged or criticized. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship, based on genuine acceptance, & unconditional positive regard, can be the pathway for change to occur. I use various modalities to help clients including, CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing & Narrative Techniques to provide therapy based on each individual clients needs.

What you can expect from me
