Great to meet you!

For the past decade, I have helped folks like you notice and upgrade patterns in how they learn, work, and live. My clinical practices are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to address your unique needs. In addition to practicing, I teach and supervise counselors-in-training. My interests include: cooking, traveling, singing, and TV/film.

My approach to therapy

As a counseling provider, I aim to offer a space where you can be yourself. Past clients have described me as nonjudgmental, humorous, warm, intuitive, and frank. I know how hard it can be to ask for help – especially if you were raised not to. I have found that chronic discouragement leads us to generate "solutions" to problems-in-living that are functional, yet maladaptive. These are "symptoms." We all also have characteristic ways we approach learning, connecting, working, and adjusting. I specialize in helping clients to notice these symptoms as solutions, to better self-regulate, and to upgrade those expired patterns-in-living.

What you can expect from me

I conduct my first visits as mental health check-ups, where I seek to understand who you are in context.
