Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Courtney, a Licensed Professional Counselor and clinical supervisor based in Tucson, Arizona. I’ve worked in behavioral health since 2015 across community mental health and private practice settings. I specialize in working with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. My goal is to offer a space that feels both supportive and grounded while helping you make meaningful, lasting changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and insight-driven. I often work with people who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, emotional ups and downs, or being hard on themselves despite functioning well on the outside. We look at patterns and how you relate to yourself, how you relate to others, and what keeps repeating even when you're trying to change. Together, we build awareness, emotional regulation, and a more stable sense of self so you can feel more grounded, confident, and connected. I integrate DBT skills, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care to help you better understand these patterns while also building tools you can use in everyday life. I also incorporate inner child and self-worth work to help shift how you relate to yourself at a deeper level. I tend to be supportive but honest, balancing validation with gentle challenge so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and emotional stability.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to slow things down and start understanding what’s been weighing on you beneath the surface. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, patterns you may be noticing, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out or explained perfectly. I create a space that is supportive, non-judgmental, and grounded, while also helping you begin making sense of things in a clear and manageable way. By the end of the session, we’ll start identifying goals and next steps that feel realistic and aligned with you.
