Great to meet you!

I have nearly a decade of experience as a clinician with specific focus on folks diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety; young adults starting and navigating college; and folks navigating the challenges of parenthood, especially through adoption. As a licensed clinical social worker I see clients as both impacted and impactful to their environments. By creating trust within yourself to know what you can and cannot control or influence, you can more consistently spend your energy where it matters most to you. Taking back control over how you spend your energy can feel daunting at first, but it is a necessity for many folks looking to improve their mental health.

My approach to therapy

I approach the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, wholeheartedly seeing you as the expert of your own experience, and honored that you are open to sharing this part of your journey with me. I pull from attachment theory and cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as professional training and lived experience as a neurodiverse person to build a road map to where you want to go; encouraging you along the way by celebrating “small” wins to stay motivated.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will start the work of identifying goals on our road map, taking from your lived experience we can explore what has and hasn’t worked to determine our next steps. Once the goals are set we will balance addressing more immediate priorities with creating systems to address longer term change outcomes. I take a relaxed but focused approach to therapy, allowing the conversation to flow naturally while being mindful of the ultimate desired direction, checking in frequently about continued alignment with that direction.
