Great to meet you!

My name is Courtney Callaway Ball and I am an LPC-S in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. I have been counseling for over 13 years and feel honored that I have had the opportunity to walk alongside so many people in their mental health journey. I went to Texas A&M University for my undergraduate degree and Texas Women's University for my Master's in Counseling and Development.

At the early age of 14, I learned how important counseling was when my father died of pancreatic cancer. Through my own grief counseling, I learned how beneficial the counseling process can be.

I specialize in grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions and women’s issues. Additionally, I became a first-time mother in 2022 and throughout my own pregnancy and postpartum journey, I realized I have a calling to work with this population. Whether it be infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or the life-long journey of parenthood, I want to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy combining traditional talk therapy with mindfulness, movement, and experiential activities. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals who are struggling with complicated grief, anxiety, disturbing memories, and stress reduction.

I believe that each individual is capable of harnessing their own inner strengths to overcome various obstacles and life stressors. Through collaboration and rapport, we can redefine your sense of self and shift from a place of surviving to thriving.

What you can expect from me

Client's can except a relaxed and welcoming environment. I spend the first session getting to know each client and hearing what ignited them to seek out counseling.
