Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Courtney Chettle, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, based in Arizona. I specialize in helping adults who are navigating trauma, substance use, anxiety, burnout, neurodivergence, identity exploration, and life transitions. I know how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying old wounds, coping silently, or feeling disconnected from who you really are. You don’t have to do it alone.

I bring 14 years of experience in the behavioral health field, including 6 years as a licensed clinician and several more as a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I work with people who are ready to make real, lasting changes, people who want to heal, grow, and feel more like themselves again.

As someone who is in recovery and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and neurodivergent individual who has had to navigate life from that lens, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain who you are, where you’ve been, or why it is hard. You’ll be met with respect, empathy, and understanding. My clients often say they feel truly seen, supported, and empowered in our work together.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is about creating a space that feels safe, steady, and supportive, where you can unpack what’s weighing on you and make sense of your story. I use a personalized, trauma-informed approach grounded in both evidence-based and holistic practices. These include EMDR, Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing.

We’ll work together to identify patterns that no longer serve you, explore your values, and strengthen your internal sense of safety and self-trust. Whether you’re processing trauma, exploring your identity, managing substance use, or healing from burnout, our work will be tailored to what you need in the moment, while always keeping your long-term goals in mind.

What you can expect from me

You’ll leave sessions with more than just insight, you’ll gain tools you can use in daily life. You’ll learn to manage triggers, set boundaries, and feel more in control of your emotions and choices. Over time, many clients tell me they feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves.

You can expect a judgment-free space to be real about what’s going on, even when it’s messy. I’ll help you untangle the pressure, pain, and patterns that are keeping you stuck, and support you in finding clarity, strength, and direction.

This is your space. Your healing. Your timeline. I’m here to walk beside you as you build a life that feels safe, steady, and truly yours.
