Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and board-approved clinical supervisor with a Doctor of Social Work degree and several years of experience in behavioral health. Throughout my career, I have supported adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, burnout, grief, self-esteem concerns, and significant life transitions. I have worked across multiple levels of care, which has strengthened my ability to understand both immediate concerns and the deeper patterns that may affect a person’s well-being.

I recognize that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I especially enjoy helping adults who appear strong and capable to others but may privately feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and direct. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic principles, and other evidence-based approaches based on each client’s needs and goals. Together, we will explore how your experiences, relationships, thoughts, and behavioral patterns may be affecting your present life while also identifying practical steps toward meaningful change.

I do more than simply listen—I offer thoughtful feedback, ask purposeful questions, help you recognize patterns, and support you in developing tools you can use outside of therapy. My goal is to help you gain insight while also making progress that feels realistic, sustainable, and consistent with the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope will improve. I will ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, relationships, support system, strengths, and previous experiences with therapy. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and share what helps you feel most comfortable and supported.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out or tell your entire story at once. We will move at a pace that feels manageable, begin identifying your priorities, and work together to develop an initial plan for therapy. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about how we can move forward together.
