Great to meet you!

I began my journey toward a career in therapy at Rasmussen College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Services. I continued my education at the University of South Florida, completing my Master’s in Social Work.

I have worked in the field for 3 years and have gained experience working in recovery centers, specifically with substance use disorders, trauma, personality disorders, and mood disorders. I also have experience with the senior assisted living setting, focusing on grief and disability-related concerns.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, working with adults ages 18 and older. I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to build on each client’s strengths while working collaboratively to achieve their meaningful goals. I emphasizes increasing acceptance of what cannot be changed, while helping clients harness their own strengths and skills to create meaningful change, and strives to provide a supportive, grounded, and compassionate therapeutic presence.
